  • Are dogs allowed? Sorry, no dogs allowed for this race.

  • How do I join a team? When registering for the race, you will have the option to join a team. There will be a dropdown menu of the teams you can join. If you don’t see your team’s name, your team may not have been started yet this year. Contact your team leader to start the team or select start a new team to start your team. After you start your team, it will appear on the team’s dropdown menu so others can easily join your team when they register.

  • I am volunteering, can I get a Run for Justice Shirt? Yes! We will send out emails to all of our volunteers so they can sign up to get a shirt. Volunteers can get either general Run for Justice shirts or they can also get a team t-shirt if they came with a specific group!

  • What is a race sponsor? Sponsors make a donation to sponsor the race as a whole through donations. 100% of all donations go directly to IJM. We have 3 types of sponsors; Family, Business, and Church sponsors. Family sponsorships start at $100 and can have their family name listed on the back of race day t-shirts and website if they would like. Our business and church sponsors have two levels of sponsorship; Silver sponsors starting at $250 can also have their names listed on our website and shirts, Gold sponsors start at $500 and can have their logo printed on the backs of our shirts and their name listed on our website. Check out our sponsorship page to learn more and get started on your sponsorship pledge!

  • What happened to the 10k? We are taking a break from the 10k for the 2027 Run for Justice. Typically, our 10k route lapped our 5k, however that was creating issues with our chip timing as well as safety issues for all runners and walkers on the route. Our hope is to bring the 10k race back soon with its own route as West Lafayette builds up their trail systems this next year. Stay tuned for the return of our 10k and we hope to see you in 2027 for our 5k!
